Before you make that automatic "mmmm" noise, let me tell you that this is not strawberry ice cream. This little treat here is called pink Slime.
"Pink slime is when they take all the cow parts left over after everything usable has been removed from a cow, grind it up, sterilize it with ammonium hydroxide (which may not work), then shape it into burgers and other food-like products," (Mike Elgan).
